Hotel was by and large as described on Internet. Great position and a 'room with a view'. Doubt it would ever command a four star rating.
We arrived on a Monday to find that the Hotel Restaurant was closed in keeping with the other Restauants and most Bars in Albarracin on that dat. No mention of this in advance so that we went hungry!
The view over the town especially at night. Pool relaxing.
Interesting place to stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant food is ok too (we had read other reviews and were a bit worried but needlessly)
Felt like the hotel was perched on a rock (it was!) and sleeping in the gods is not for me. Room was small and the bathroom drain was a bit smelly. Car parking is a nightmare - be prepared for a long walk & haul
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, excellent location, great views of the historical town.
I liked the village and staying at the hotel was a good choice location wise.
No atmosphere. No real human interaction.
All of it. Delightful place to stay. Loads of characture and very comfortable.
Location is great. Views from room.
Twin beds and noise from other rooms.
No a/c in the room which was rather cramped. Breakfast started at 7:00 pm which is great and the breakfast buffet was superb, I recommend the tortilla. We did run out of Orange juice one morning however. One problem was internet access which was a card based system at €6.50 per hour. Even the staff admitted that it was very expensive.
we liked the clean room we liked the comfy bed we liked the lovely view we liked the position of the hotel - at the entrance of the old quarter
the website should have told us that the pool was only usable in July and August - we came in May with our swimming costumes; the website also should have told us that the restaurant and in deed all restaurants in Albarracin are closed on Sunday evenings; the breakfast was NOT three star: there were only 3 types of cereals - sugar puffs, rice crispies and cornflakes - no muesli or other healthy options; hot options: no eggs at all, just anaemic looking sausages and very fatty bacon and slices of processed ham and cheese only one variety of yoghurt.
Friendly staff on arrival and comfortable room, no problems
Wonderful location and the swimming pool was an added bonus. Well worth paying for a room with a balcony as the view was superb. The staff were really freindly and helpful.
Wonderful views from the room and well into the town
the walk to the hotel up a steep hill, very hard bed, noise from other rooms, no evening meal available, just up from a basic standard of hotel
The location was fantastic. We stayed in a room with panoramic views and had a balcony overlooking the town. The hotel is very old fitting for the town (but well fairly well kept). We spent one night in Albarracin and it was the highlight of our 2 week trip in Spain.
The Internet connection for each room only lasts for six hours once you activate it. This was annoying even though you can purchase more time.
